I had a great time today evrybody!
Thank you Kevin for the scores, and I am looking forward to the pic's!
It was a good time again yesterday. Nice to run on some new terrain. I would recommend B.O.T.G. anytime, or more accurately, Blue Lake. The only drawback is some occasional interference but I only had a glitch or two the whole day.

That was the most fun / broken parts i have had in a while. I thought that the buddy system was cool only we need more contestants. On a scale of 1-10 I would give botg a b+.

we need more contestants.
I expected to be there but it did not work out. I expect that now that Nationals are over that there will be more people showing up.

I would have been there but South Central Oregon was more important:D
Looks/sounds like you guys had some issue with getting to the Top Secret BOTG crawling spot. By the looks of those pictures it seems as if you were not at the correct spot, unless the 6" of moss is gone.
Sounds like you all had a decent time.
On a scale of 1-10 I would give botg a b+.
That's funny!:D

Did you guys get to the actual spot? Any other pictures showing the surounding area?

I doubt we were at the 'actual spot', none of us knew where it was.
We were on top of the ridge near a shooting range and you could walk 50 feet to the west of the rocks and look down on a small lake. Across the road from us, there were some folks dry camped.
There looks to be good spots to crawl all over that area.

Yeah... that doesn't sound right. Basicly once you get to the top you have to drive down a narrow dirt road(bumpy) and the main crawling area is on one side while the other side of the dirt road drops off. If there are too many 1:1 rigs you have to park up in the trees/bushes do to the lack of room.
I don't remember really being able to see a lake either.
I can't even find pictures from the last time I was there... might be on my other computer though.
This place was basically on the powerline service road and we chose a spot that was convenient.
There were great places to drive though in almost any direction. I would go there again any time.

Here are a couple pictures pulled from the last comp there.... damn, way back from 4/30/2006!! Just over 2 years. 6" of moss giving the ground/rocks a nice soft feel.
