I built a friend a truck based on the tlt, used axial axles & a traxxas slash transmission with a 27 turn motor, it runs great has torq & wheel speed.
I built another truck using hpi crawler king axles, traxxas slash transmission with a 27turn motor, this truck just falls on its face, no wheel speed or torq? I have pulled the transmission apart but everything checks out. at this point i am lost, any ideas?

The Wheely King's axle gearing is real close to the axial's, so unless it's binding or the wheel nuts are too tight or bearings are siezing, it's not the axles. If tranny is good, maybe motor sucks?
If not maybe the Esc isn't synced to the radioso your max throttle and brake is off, or bad expo on throttle channel?. Higher EPA's maybe? Good luck!

pull the pinion or motor and make sure that the truck rolls freely

swap another known good motor/ esc/ battery ect and make sure it not one of those parts giving you trouble

re program the esc to the radio and check throttle settings

What size pinion are you running?

thanks for the suggestions. running a 90 spur & 18 pinion. I am going to take the axles apart, they do seem to roll ok when free wheel. I am going to try & swap transmission also. THis think is driving me crazy.
