well hear i go.

i have been tinkering with my rig thought i would share a little.

Specs:

Wheels: Proline 2.2 bead locks
Tires: Proline Flat irons M2? with memory foams
Axels: TLT , Epoxy locked and running wideners ( yeah i know i like old school )
Trans: Stampede, epoxy locked
Motor: Integy 55T Lathe
ESC: castle Sidwinder
Batt: 1600mah 20C 2 cell LIPO
Radio: TQ3
Chassie: "MK4 Mod1" All mine, one off :)

I have learned one thing about offroading in general 1:1 or scale,

Step 1: Build "cool" Rig
Step 2: Wheel Rig HARD
Step 3: Break Rig
Step 4: Fix Rig
Step 5: Repeat steps 2 through 4.

Last Picture shows the steering tie rod pulled out of the ball end on the knuckle.
I will post More Pics soon.

Question For the scale Comp experienced peoples. What class do you think my rig would run in if i came out to a comp?

Because of tire height, it would be in the trail class. Looks pretty wide as well.

Is it the angle? It looks like the front axle is about an inch off center towards the cab in the wheelwell. Like the tires would be hard into the firewall. Makes the front kinda look like a Ural 4320.
